ASE Group, the engineering subsidiary of Russian state nuclear corporation Rosatom, on 1 June signed an agreement with IBM Corporation on cooperation in digital transformation development the help expand its Multi-D technology.
The agreement was signed during the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum by Valery Limarenko, president of ASE Group, and Andrey Filatov, IBM's general director for Russia and the CIS. Limarenko stressed that cooperation with IBM would create new high-tech products that are in demand in Russia and abroad.
Under the agreement, the companies will seek solutions “based on artificial intelligence and computer-aided learning using cognitive”, a Rosatom statement said. “One of ASE Group of Companies strategic goals is to build an industrial digital platform to manage lifecycle processes of complex engineering facilities based on Multi-D technology. For this purpose, we are planning to use the latest inventions... such as blockchains and ‘Internet of Things’, as well as ‘big’ data.”
